Conference Overview: 

MACAE is excited to announce its Fall Virtual Conference 2020: In it Together on Thursday-Friday, November 5-6, 2020! A special pre-conference kickoff will take place November 4th.   

We are looking forward to offering you high-quality content and presentations with opportunities for you to still network and socialize with others!  Conference sessions and presentations will focus on the areas of adult education best practices, alternative education innovative ideas, family literacy, integrated workforce, social justice and equity, program growth and leadership, digital and distance learning, instructional strategies and more!  We are taking great care to develop a conference app that will be easy-to-navigate and user friendly! 

Conference App: Whova

We are so proud to partner with Whova to be able to bring you this virtual conference platform!  Upon registration, you will be invited to download the Whova app on your phone or lap top.  This will help you create  a profile and navigate the conference application.  You’ll be able to chat with other attendees, see all the available sessions, join the social networking events and also visit the Exhibitor hall!

Conference Presentations and Sessions: 

Our conference days will run from 8:30am-3:30pm each day!  This is a great opportunity for you to plug unto your day and take advantage of high quality sessions.  If you are interested in submitting a conference presentation, please use this form.

2020 MACAE Annual Awards:

Please take some time to recognize the outstanding Community and Adult, Alternative Educators and Workforce Development Professionals in your area. The MACAE Annual Awards program at Fall Conference, November 5th and 6th is a great opportunity to turn the spotlight on the great work of our members and the people who support them. We are seeking regional and program nominations from across the state.

Nominations are open for Program Advocate, Support Staff Person, Trail Blazer, Outstanding Educator. To submit a nomination for someone, click here! Nominations will be accepted through October 5th.
